This Contempt Petition is filed alleging that the order of this Court in W.P.No.34225 of 2025 dated 10.09.2025 has not been complied with. 1/4

The petitioner had filed a Writ of Mandamus, seeking to direct the respondent to review the suspension order, vide G.O.(3.D).No.382, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare (ADW-1) Department, dated 23.06.2023 as per the Government Order, vide G.O.Ms.No.81, Human Resources Management (N) Department, dated 04.08.2022. This Court on 10.09.2025, had disposed of the writ petition with the following directions:
"6. In the light of the pendency of the representation before the respondent, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.08.2025, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.81, Human Resources Management (N) Department, dated 04.08.2022 and G.O.(D).No.450, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, dated 01.08.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 01.08.2025 has been considered, and it has been rejected by the Government vide letter No.11858138/Mjpe1/2025-1, dated 20.01.2026, and thus the order of this Court has been complied with. 2/4
In view of the above, this contempt petition stands closed, with liberty to challenge the letter dated 20.01.2026, if so advised. 17.02.2026 dsn To 1.
