This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 179 days in filing the above civil miscellaneous appeal against the judgment and decree dated 10.03.2025 made in M.A.C.T.O.P.No.4389 of 2021 on the file of the VI Court of Small Causes, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Suresh Srinivasan, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent.

3. The reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition being satisfactory, this petition stands ordered and consequently, the delay of 179 days in filing the above appeal is condoned, subject to the condition that the petitioner will not be entitled to any interest for the delay period i.e., for 179 days, in the appeal.

4. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the case for admission in due course.
