ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to dispose of the petition in Na.Ka.No.705/2025/A, dated 13.06.2025.

2. In view of the limited relief that is prayed for and is being granted in the Writ Petition, the same is disposed of at the admission stage without notice to the second respondent. It is made clear that this Court is not making any observations as to the merits of the dispute.

3. The petitioner has filed a petition under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 (MWPSC Act) and it is stated that the same is pending before the first respondent.

4. In view thereof, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to decide the same as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a web-copy of this order without waiting for a certified copy of this order. Needless to state that an enquiry, if any, shall be conducted in accordance with law and the matter has to be decided after due notice to all parties concerned. There shall be no order as to costs.
