ORDER

This criminal revision petition has been filed against the order dated 04.09.2025 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate IV, Coimbatore District in Crl.M.P.No.8242 of 2025 in C.C.No.2826 of 2025.

2. It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioner has filed a petition to de-freeze his bank account in pursuance of the registration of Cr.No.07 of 2025 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Coimbatore District. However, the learned Magistrate has dismissed the said petition on the ground that the petitioner is a habitual offender and that the investigation has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed. Aggrieved over the same, the present revision has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his account has been frozen and that a huge sum is found to be lying idle in his account and since the account has been frozen, the petitioner's entire business transaction is severely affected.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the charge sheet has already been filed and has been taken cognizance by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Coimbatore in C.C.No.2826 of 2025 and that there are only 12 witnesses to be examined and therefore the trial could be completed at the earliest.

5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials

available on record.

6. In view of the above submissions, this Court is of the view that it is not desirable to go into the merits of the case at this stage, as the matter is pending before the learned Magistrate for trial. However would like to give a direction to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Coimbatore to dispose of the C.C.No.2826 of 2025 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of nine (9) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. Accordingly, this criminal revision petition is disposed of. 11-03-2026 Index: Yes/No rap To 1.The Judicial Magistrate-IV Coimbatore 2.The Inspector of Police Coimbatore District Cyber Crime Coimbatore District Crime No.7 of 2025
