The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

The case of the petitioner is that under the pretext of conducting an enquiry in connection with the property dispute with one Jarina Begam, the respondent Police are unnecessarily harassing her. 3.
Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given against the petitioner by Jarina Begam, an enquiry was conducted by the second respondent Police in C.S.R.No.1198 2025 and finding that the dispute between the parties was civil in nature, the complaint was closed and the parties were directed to approach the civil Court. He further submitted that the petitioner was called only for enquiry and was not harassed during the enquiry.
