The present Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking extension of the time granted to comply with the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.26640 of 2025, vide order dated 03.12.2025. 1/4
The submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners are as follows:- 2.1. The petitioners are arrayed as accused in Crime No.125 of 2025 registered on the file of the second respondent for the offences under Sections 191(2), 115(2) and 324 of the BNS and Sections 3(2)(va), 3(1)(r) & 3(1)(s) of the SC/ST (PoA) Act, 1989. 2.2. This Court, while allowing the petition filed by the petitioners in Crl.O.P.No.26640 of 2025 seeking to consider their bail application on the same day of their surrender, vide order dated 26.09.2025, directed the petitioners to surrender before the jurisdictional Court within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order. 2.3. The order copy was made ready on 06.11.2025. However, the same was received by the petitioner's counsel belatedly. Therefore, the petitioners were unable to surrender before the Court concerned within a stipulated time, which is neither willful nor wanton. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time to comply with the condition.

Having heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and considering the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this Court is inclined to extend the time for complying with the 2/4
directions issued by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.26640 of 2025, vide order dated 26.09.2025.

Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered. The time for complying with the order dated 26.09.2025 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.26640 of 2025, is hereby extended by a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that no further extension will be granted to the petitioners 23.01.2026 ham To 1.
