The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 09.06.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 394 and 397 of IPC pending in P.R.C.No.09 of 2018 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Uthangarai, Krishnagiri District, seeks bail. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that originally the petitioner was earlier arrested and released on bail in this case and subsequently he was appearing before the Committal Court; that thereafter, the petitioner was arrested in connection with another case in Crime No.117 of 2025 on the file of the Dindigul Police Station, hence he was not able to appear before the Court, hence a NBW was issued as against the petitioner and subsequently, the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 09.06.2025; and that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that there are totally 4 accused in this case and the petitioner is arrayed as A4; that the petitioner herein was arrested through 2/4

PT warrant based on NBW issued as against the petitioner; that the case in P.R.C.No.09 of 2018 has been split up against the petitioner and committed in S.C.No.168 of 2025 on the file of the learned Principal District Judge, Krishnagiri. He further submitted that the petitioner has 14 previous cases, hence opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.

Considering the submissions made on both sides, the fact that the petitioner is having 14 previous cases and taking into account that the petitioner has involved in another offence during his bail period, hence this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 5.

Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. 06.01.2026 stn K. RAJASEKAR, J.
