ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner, based on his representation, dated 05.06.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner claims that he has now become the absolute owner of the property morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition. He also claims that he is in possession of the same and he would also submit that subsequent to the death of his father, namely Perumal, in whose name the patta originally stood, the legal representatives of his father have allotted the property in favour of the petitioner under a family arrangement. He also contends that after the patta was transferred in favour of the petitioner subsequent to the family arrangement, the respondents have now restored the patta arbitrarily and illegally in the name of the petitioner's father once again. In such circumstances, the petitioner has given a representation on 05.06.2025 to Page No.2 of 6

the respondents seeking for issuance of patta in his name. Since the said representation has not been considered by the respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and on instructions, he would submit that the respondents will consider the petitioner's representation, dated 05.06.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of all the necessary parties. The said statement made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents on instructions is recorded.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation, dated 05.06.2025 seeking for issuance of patta in his name for the property morefully described in the affidavit filed support of this writ petition is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, after hearing the objections of all the necessary parties, including the other legal representatives of the deceased Perumal.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation, dated 05.06.2025.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation, dated 05.06.2025 seeking for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner, for the property morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after hearing the objections of all the necessary parties, which includes the other legal representative of the deceased Perumal, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
