Respondent(s) PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th and 5th respondents to measure the petitioners property in S.No. 101/18C measuring 11⁄2 cents situated at Perumbulimedu Village, Vembakkam Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District by disposing of the petitioners online application dated 29.10.2025 and representation dated 5.11.2025 with the aid of the 2nd and 3rd respondents and further subdivide the survey number and issue fresh individual patta to the petitioner.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully
described in the prayer to this writ petition, and also to issue separate patta in favour of the petitioner, based on his applications dated 29.10.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Since the aforesaid applications have not been considered by the respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1, 4 & 5. Mr.R.Venkatesa Perumal, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3.
4. Since no adverse orders are passed against the private respondents, notice to the private respondents 6 to 10 is dispensed with.
5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's applications as stated supra is directed to be considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any third party as they deem fit.
6. Accordingly, this Court directs the respondents 4 and 5 to complete the survey and demarcation of boundaries of the property morefully
described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's applications dated 29.10.2025, after giving due consideration to the documents produced by the petitioner, and after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners and any other third party, whom they deem fit to enquire. Thereafter, if the petitioner is found to be eligible, the 4th respondent shall issue separate patta for the sub-divided property in favour of the petitioner. The respondents 4 and 5 are directed to complete the aforesaid exercise, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the need arises for police assistance and on a request made by the 4th respondent, the respondents 2 and 3 shall render police assistance for the effective implementation of this order.
7. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
