O R D E R

Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Since this Court is not inclined to pass any adverse order as against the respondents, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to release the original title deeds and discharge the mortgaged property within a stipulated time.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner obtained loan from the second respondent to the tune of Rs.3 Lakhs under the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme and the entire loan was paid to the second respondent. Even thereafter, the second respondent has not issued the no due certificate and has not released the original title deeds and has not discharged the mortgaged property. In this regard, the petitioner made representation dated 24.10.2024 to the second respondent, however, there is no response. Hence, this Court may without going into the merits of the case, issue direction to the second respondent to 2/4

consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.10.2024 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame. 4.Considering the limited relief now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.10.2024, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. For ready reference, the petitioner is directed to send a copy of the representation dated 24.10.2024 and copy of the payment details to the second respondent so as to enable the second respondent to pass appropriate orders.
