In a proposed suit for recovery of money for supply of adhesive tapes, the intending plaintiff has applied for leave to sue the respondent/defendant before this Court.

2. Learned counsel for the intending plaintiff refers to the dispute resolution clause whereby parties have agreed to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts in Chennai. He also points out that purchase orders were issued from an address in Chennai and that invoices were also issued by the plaintiff to the said address.
3. Upon examining the draft plaint and documents annexed thereto, it appears that at least a part of cause of action has arisen within the jurisdiction of this Court. Therefore, this application is allowed by granting leave to the applicant to sue the respondent before this Court. Consequently, the Registry is directed to number the suit, if otherwise in order.
