ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by Sunder Mohan J.) The mother of the convict, viz., Vanitha, aged 36 years, has filed this writ petition challenging the impugned order dated 16.10.2025 by which the petitioner's request for ordinary leave for the convict has been rejected on the ground that the convict has not completed one year since she had returned from the earlier leave on 04.06.2025.
2. We do not find any infirmity in the impugned order.
3. The impugned order was passed on 16.10.2025. It is seen that as on date, one year has elapsed from the convict's return to jail after her earlier leave. Therefore, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's request in the light of the above changed circumstances and pass appropriate orders within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The writ petition is closed with the above directions. (A.S.M.,J.) (S.M.,J.) 17-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order ars
