PRAYER Writ petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to consider and dispose petitioner's representations dated 31.08.2023 and 17.11.2025 requesting to demarcate petitioner's agricultural land comprised in Survey No.918/1B1, situate at Pyoor-II, Krishnagiri Taluk and District, admeasuring an extent of 23 cents and consequentially to rectify the said measurements in UDR Patta and FMB Sketch as per the revenue records, within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner claims that he is the owner of the property situated in Survey No.918/1B1, Pyoor II Village, Krishnagiri Taluk and District. He claims to have obtained title to the property by virtue of a settlement deed dated 23.03.2011 registered as document No.852 of 2011 on the file of the Sub Registrar Office, Kaveripattinam. The petitioner states that he has also been benefited with the patta bearing Patta No.2109 for an extent of 23 cents. As the land has not been demarcated, he approached the respondents to do the needful. Since no action was initiated, he is before this Court.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.T.K.Saravanan, Additional Government Pleader representing the respondents states that the 2/4
survey was completed on 16.09.2025 and that the papers were placed before the District Revenue Officer [DRO], Krishnagiri. He further states that the DRO will have to pass orders on the same. The statement is recorded. This writ petition is disposed of by giving a direction to the District Revenue Officer, Krishnagiri District, to pass orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
