ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 351(2), 118(1) and Section 296 of BNS 2023 in Cr.No.Not known 1/4

of 2025 pending investigation on the file of the respondent police. seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner joining hands other accused, waylaid the defacto complainant and picked a sum of Rs.320/- at knife point for buying liquor. Hence, the complaint has been lodged against the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready and co-operate with the investigation and prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner is ranked as A3 and having 14 previous cases of similar nature. Hence, she opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/4

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the nature and gravity of an offence and the petitioner is having14 previous cases of similar nature, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
