JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was delivered by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) This intra-court appeal has been instituted under clause 15 of the Letters Patent challenging the order of the Writ Court dated 16.12.2025 in W.P.No.27769 of 2025.
2. The Writ Court considered the issues and disposed of the writ petition by directing the first respondent/writ petitioner to make fresh application along with the indemnity bond and on execution of such indemnity bond and payment of necessary charges, the third respondent/The Assistant Engineer, was directed to provide fresh electricity service connection to the writ petitioner's premises in a period of two weeks. Such direction was issued on the ground that the application initially filed by the first respondent/petitioner was rejected on the ground that there is no registered ownership document for the prayer hall premises. It is needless to state that the Electricity Board authorities are
empowered to verify the documents relating to ownership and thereafter, take a final decision for providing electricity service connection.

The learned counsel for the first respondent/writ petitioner would submit that electricity service connection has already been provided in the premises of the first respondent/writ petitioner on 24.12.2025. Be that as it may, in any event, the Writ Court has directed the writ petitioner to submit a fresh application and thus, the appellants/respondents 5 and 6 have not made out any ground for the purpose of entertaining the writ appeal. If any civil dispute is pending between the parties, they are at liberty to redress their remedy in the manner known to law. If at all the appellants are aggrieved from and out of the new service connection, they are at liberty to challenge the same in the manner known to law.
