Ms.J.R.Archana, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) Order The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 3(2)(a), 4(1), 5(1)(a) of Immoral Traffic Prevention Act, in Crime No.40 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that she was running a brothel house, engaged one victim, and forced her into prostitution. Based on the information received, the respondent police conducted a search, rescued one victim, and arrested A2 in this case. Hence, the complaint came to be lodged.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a lady and that she was already arrested and released on bail in another case. Hence, he prayed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner is a habitual offender and that 11 previous cases are pending against her. If the petitioner is released on bail, there is a likelihood that she may indulge in similar offences. Hence, he opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the nature of the allegations, the fact that 11 previous cases are pending against the petitioner, and that the present petition is one seeking anticipatory bail, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
