ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.05.2025 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 109, 329(4), 351(3) @ 109, 191(3), 332(b), 61(2)(a) of BNS and 307, 427 and 506(ii) of IPC @ 307, 148, 120(b) of IPC, in Crime No.278 of 2024, registered on the 1/4

file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity the petitioner joined hands with other accused and entered into the office of the defacto complainant and attacked him with patta knife and stones and caused severe injuries to him. Hence, the case.

3. Earlier, this Court dismissed the bail petition in Crl.OP.No.33110 of 2025 dated 10.12.2025 on the ground that the petitioner is a hireling and that he had attempted to commit the murder of the deceased after collecting a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- and that he has also having 18 previous cases.

4. This is the successive bail petition. It is stated that all the other accused were released on bail and prays to grant bail to the petitioner. This Court is unable to accept the said contention. Considering the fact that the petitioner is having 18 previous cases and was allegedly engaged as a hireling to commit the offence, and hence there is no change in circumstances, to revisit the earlier order, therefore this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 09.02.2026 drl 2/4
