O R D E R

Crl.O.P.No.35702 of 2025 has been filed by the petitioner seeking anticipatory bail in Crime No.553 of 2025 registered for the offences under Sections 316(2), 318(1), 318(2), 319(2), 336(3), 337 of BNS on the file of the respondent police.

Crl.O.P.No.35703 of 2025 has been filed by the petitioner seeking anticipatory bail in Crime No.629 of 2025 registered for the offences under Sections 420 and 406 of IPC on the file of the respondent police.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner posing himself as an advocate induced the defacto complainant to part with money to the extent of Rs.64,000/- and it is further alleged that the petitioner also attempted to run law firm in the name and style of M/s. Eagle Vision Law Associates and the petitioner also appeared before the Family Court, Coimbatore posing himself as an advocate and thereby cheated the defacto complainant and the case has been registered.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is not a practicing advocate and he is only a law student and in his name, another advocate is running the law firm, however due to previous enmity, false complaint has been lodged by the defacto complainant. He further submitted that the petitioner had lodged a counter complaint against the defafcto complainant and the same is registered in Crime No.529 of 2025 on the file of the Race Course Police Station. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner had cheated the defacto complainant to the tune of Rs.64,000/-. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner posing himself as advocate and appeared before the Court of Law and considering the conduct of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
