O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking to withdraw HMOP.No.43 of 2018 pending on the file of Family court, Trichirapalli and transfer the same to Family Court, Chennai. 2.The respondent wife filed a petition for divorce in HMOP.No.43 of 2018 before the Family Court, Trichirapalli. The petitioner husband is a resident of Chennai.

3. According to the petitioner, his wife is now residing at Chennai and working at HCL Technologies Limited situate at Chennai. To prove the residence of the respondent wife, he also produced the Adhar Card of the respondent wife, wherein, the respondent is residing at Oggiam, Thuraipakkam.

4. Despite receipt of notice, the respondent wife has not chosen to appear before this Court.

5. From the evidence produced before this Court, it is seen that the respondent wife is a resident of Chennai and also employed at Chennai.

6. Considering the fact that the parties are living and employed at Chennai and taking note of the convenience of both the parties, this Court is of the opinion that the HMOP.No.43 of 2018 pending on the file of Family Court, Thichirapalli can be transferred to Chennai.

7. Accordingly, HMOP.No.43 of 2018 pending on the file of Family Court, Trichirapalli is withdrawn and transferred to Principal Family Court, Chennai.

8. The Principal Judge, Family Court is directed to renumber the case and allot the case to the appropriate Family Court. No costs. Consequently, the connected CMP.No.17777 of 2018 is also closed.
