Prayer: Civil Revision Petition filed Under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to set aside the order dated 29.06.2018 made in I.A.SR.No.3241 of 2018 in I.A.No.214 of 2016 in O.S.No.6 of 2016 on the file of the learned Principal District Judge, Kancheepuram District at Chengalpattu and number the same.

O R D E R

The petitioners have filed this petition seeking to set aside the order dated 29.06.2018 made in I.A.SR.No.3241 of 2018 in I.A.No.214 of 2016 in O.S.No.6 of 2016, by which the petitioners have sought to amend the date of decree as 14.06.2017.

2. The date of the decree and the date of the Judgement in the order passed in application in I.A.No.214 of 2016 cannot be different and apparently, it is a mistake. Hence, the Registry of the learned Principal District Judge, Kancheepuram may not be justified in returning the petitioners' application seeking for amendment on the ground that the amendment cannot be ordered.

3. Hence, the learned Principal District Judge, Kancheepuram is called upon to direct his Registry to number the application in I.A.SR.No.3241 of 2018 in I.A.No.214 of 2016 in O.S.No.6 of 2016, if is is otherwise in order, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Registry is directed to return the original petition to the learned counsel for the petitioners.

4. Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 15.11.2018 Index:Yes/No Speaking Order: Yes/No hvk To The Principal District Judge, Kancheepuram.
