Appeal Suit filed under Order XLI Rule 1 of the Code of Civil Procedure against the Judgement and Decree dated 30.11.2017 passed by the Hon'ble V Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai in O.S.No.8322 of 2011.

The parties would submit that they have entered into a Joint Compromise Memo after comprehending the terms thereof.

2. Today, three demand drafts as detailed below have been handed over to the appellants by respondents, Patricia Rangeetha Paul and Anupama Clement:

"(1)Rs.10,50,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs Fifty Thousand Only) in the name of R.A. Balan (1st Appellant) vide DD.No.952499 dated 10/08/2021 drawn on State Bank of India for the said sum of Rs.10,50,000/-. (2)Rs.6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Only) in the name of B.Muthulakshmi (2nd Appellant) vide DD.No.052709 dated 10/08/2021 drawn on Indian Overseas Bank for the said sum of Rs.6,00,000/-.

(3)Rs.4,50,000/(Rupees Four Lakhs Fifty Thousand Only) in the name of B.Muthulakshmi (2nd Appellant) vide DD.No.052710 dated 10/08/2021 drawn on Indian Overseas Bank for the said sum of Rs.4,50,000/-."

3. The Joint Compromise Memo is taken on file and the Appeal Suits are decreed on the basis of the Joint Compromise Memo. The terms of the Joint Compromise Memo shall form part of the decree. Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed. No costs.

4. The Court fee paid shall be refunded to the appellants as per procedure.
