ORDER

(By S.Vaidyanathan,J.) Mr.M.S.Palaniswamy, learned counsel for the petitioners, would submit that pursuant to the orders of the Shops Act Authority setting aside the order of

3/4 dismissal and the same having been confirmed by this Court in W.P.Nos.11123 and 11124 of 2013, the parties have arrived at a settlement during the pendency of the Writ Appeals and a sum of Rs.13,05,770/- and 6,78,437/- under different heads has been paid towards full and final settlement of the entire claim, arising out of the Shops Act Appeals. He would also submit that contempt petitions have been filed by the employees, which are pending before a learned single Judge of this Court. The learned counsel would further submit that one of the employees, namely, Mr.Velayutham is no more and, hence, the cheque has been drawn in favour of Mrs.V.Meenachi, wife of late Velayutham, and handed over to Mr.V.Priyadarsan, who is the son of late Velayutham.

2. Now that the parties have arrived at a settlement, it is open for them to mention the matter before the learned single Judge and request for disposal of the Contempt Petitions.
