The matter was called today. The Court posed a question to Mr. J. Ravindran, learned Additional Advocate General (Coordination) as to whether the Government is taking any proactive steps to ensure that one-time plastic is not used to wrap crackers for sale for the ensuing Deepavali festival.

The learned Additional Advocate General (Coordination) submitted that he would get back to the Court with instructions. Post on 30.10.2023 (Monday) at 2.15 p.m.
