Prayer: Civil Revision Petition filed Under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to direct the I Additional Family Court, Chennai to number the I.A.SR.No.226 of 2018 within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. For Petitioner : M/s.A.Arulmozhi

O R D E R

The limited grievance of the petitioner is that when she had made an application seeking for permission from the Family Court to permit her to be represented by her father / power agent, since she is residing at Singapore, the said application has been kept pending without numbering.

2. On a perusal of the adjudication orders, it is seen that though the petitioner was present for the hearing on 17.03.2018, in the subsequent

hearings, she had remained absent. Her absence may have caused inconvenience to the Court in numbering the same. Nevertheless, it is the claim of the petitioner that the application was presented on 06.01.2018 and that in the next hearing on 17.03.2018, she was present and even then, the application was not taken up.

3. In my view, the application can be directed to be numbered and the merits of the claim made can be adjudicated after numbering the application.

4. In the light of the above observations, the learned I Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai is called upon to direct his Registry to number the petitioner's application in I.A.SR.No.226 of 2018 within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3. Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition stands ordered. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 30.10.2018 Internet:Yes Index:Yes/No hvk
