JUDGMENT

(delivered by Justice R. MAHADEVAN) This writ appeal is directed against the order dated 27.06.2014 passed in W.P. No.17673 of 2004, in and by which, the order impugned in the writ petition filed by the first respondent was quashed and the appellants were directed to approve the appointment of the first respondent as B.T. Assistant (Mathematics) in one of the sanctioned posts under G.O. Ms.No.523, School Education (D1) Department dated 29.12.1997, with salary and other benefits effective 10.06.1997, within a period of eight weeks.

Today, when this writ appeal was taken up for hearing, it was submitted by the learned counsel for the first respondent that the order under assail in this writ appeal has already been complied with by the appellants and the said submission has also been affirmed by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the appellants.

In view of the above subsequent development brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the first respondent, this writ appeal stands dismissed. No costs.
