J U D G M E N T

(Judgment of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) The Government is on appeal, aggrieved by the direction issued by the Writ Court to regularize the services of the respondent, who was appointed as a temporary Watchman and was made as a permanent watchman.

2.The Writ Petition was allowed on the basis of the representation made by the learned Additional Advocate General to the effect that there are 506 vacancies of Night Watchman and 786 in the posts of Sweeper, which will be filled up after getting appropriate orders from the Government. Several such orders were passed by the Writ Court in various Writ Petitions filed across State. This resulted in several appeals also. A batch of appeals in W.A.No.1258 of 2018 etc., came up before a Division Bench on 2/5

13.09.2019 and all the appeals were dismissed by the Division bench. The respondent in this appeal also a similarly placed person. We therefore, do not see any reason to take a different view. Hence, this Writ Appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
