The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2018, and pay compensation for land acquisition and provide alternative land for cultivation in Thervoy village or nearby village.

2. Earlier notice was ordered to the respondents. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that already the enquiry has been conducted by the Tahsildar, Gumidipoondi, and a final order has been passed rejecting the petitioners representation and also produced the copy of the order.

3. Considering the fact that already the petitioners representation has been considered and order has been passed, nothing remains for adjudication in the writ petition and the writ petition is dismissed.
