Original Petition praying that this Hon'ble Court be pleased that a Succession Certificate may be granted to the petitioner with power to collect the securities and to receive the interest and dividends on and negotiate and transfer the securities specified in the schedule in the petition.

This Original Petition coming on this day before this court for hearing the court made the following order: The petitioner seeks issuance of Succession Certificate in respect of the securities that stood in the name of Saraswathi Jayaraman who died intestate on 17.03.2011. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. According to the petitioner, he is the only son of the deceased Saraswathi Jayaraman. The petitioner has examined himself as PW1. He has produced the death certificate of late T.R.Jayaraman as Ex.P1 and the legal heirship certificate as Ex.P2. Ex.P3 is the death certificate of Alamelu, the mother of late T.R.Jayaraman. Ex.P4 is the death certificate of Saraswathi Jayaraman wife of T.R.Jayaraman. Publication as required have been made and no objections have been received.

3. A perusal of Ex.P2 shows that the petitioner is the only surviving legal heir of the deceased Saraswathi Jayaraman. Considering the evidence on record, this Original Petition is allowed granting Succession Certificate in respect of the securities mentioned in the schedule to the petition in favour of the petitioner.
