ORDER

When the matter is taken up, Mr.M.Santhanaraman, learned Additional Government Pleader (Forests), submitted that the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.10568 of 2018, dated 26.04.2018, directing the respondent to consider the pending case of the petitioner within a period

of four weeks, has been duly complied with. He has also brought to the notice of this Court a letter dated 30.08.2018 of the first respondent, whereby it is stated that the petitioner's renewal application has been placed before the State Level Committee.

2. As could be seen from a letter dated 30.08.2018 of the first respondent, since the State Level Committee has deferred the meeting and they are awaiting for an amendment of Tamil Nadu Regulation of Wood Based Industries Rules, 2010, this Court is of the view that the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.10568 of 2018, dated 26.04.2018, directing the respondent to consider the pending case of the petitioner, has been duly complied with. Therefore, by recording the said letter dated 30.08.2018 of the respondent, the contempt petition is closed. No Costs.
