O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 02.07.2015 made in W.P.No.19355 of 2015. 2.By the said order, this Court directed the Tahsildar concerned, who was the fourth respondent in the writ petition, to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 01.08.2014 on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame.

3.Though belatedly, it seems that the said request of the petitioner, having been considered, was rejected through the order passed by the respondent Tahsildar on 20.03.2020, today when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, a copy of the said order was produced by Mr.Richardson Wilson, learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents, by relying upon the same, the learned Government Counsel seeks indulgence of this Court to dispose of this contempt petition. 4.I have considered the said development taken place, where, by order dated 20.03.2020, the second respondent has rejected the request of the petitioner thereby the direction given by this Court, by order dated 02.07.2015 in the aforesaid writ petition, has been complied with though belatedly.

5.In view of the above, this Court feels that, no further adjudication is required in this contempt petition, accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed.
