The petitioners, who are the sons of the deceased S.P. Swaminathan seek issuance of succession certificate in respect of the securities that stood in the name of S.P.Swaminathan. S.P.Swaminathan died on 30.09.2010, leaving behind the petitioners as his Class - I legal heirs. His wife Thirpurasundari predeceased him on 13.04.2010.

2. The first petitioner has been examined as P.W.1. He has produced the death certificates of his parents as Exs.P1 and P2. The copy of the legal heirship certificate has been produced as Ex.P3. Publication has been made as required under law and no objections have been received. A perusal of Ex.P3 shows that the petitioners are the legal heirs of the deceased S.P.Swaminathan and Thirpurasundari.

3. In view of the evidence available, this original petition is allowed granting succession certificate in respect of the securities mentioned in the schedule to the petition in favour of the petitioners. 09.08.2019 kkn 1/2 http://www.judis.nic.in
