When the contempt petition is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the order of this Court dated 20.12.2017 in W.P. No. 25953 of 2017 has been complied with by issuance of communication dated 11.12.2018.

A perusal of the communication dated 11.12.2018 would reveal that the Board of Governors, in the meeting held on 06.12.2018, with regard to admission of PG students at Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences & Research for the academic year 2017-2018, have approved the withdrawal of discharge notice issued to the petitioner by the Medical Council of India .

In view of the above, the contempt petition is closed.
