O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed against the order dated 17.07.2017 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.13720 of 2017.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the Inspector of Police, Vasanthapuram Road, Vellore, the Investigation Officer is present before this Court.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submitted that investigation has been completed and after completion of investigation charge sheet has also been sent for approval and the same is pending with the superior officer. Therefore, under such circumstances, sanction has to be accorded for filing final report.

4.Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), the respondent police is directed to file final report after getting sanction of prosecution to prosecute the accused, within a period of one month from today i.e. 02.11.2018.

5.With the above direction, the contempt petition is closed. It is needless to state that if the respondent did not file final report within one month, the petitioner is at liberty file a fresh petition.
