ORDER

When the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Puducherry), appearing for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent had complied with the orders of this Court dated 12.12.2015 made in W.P.No.11948 of 2010, by passing an order dated 25.02.2017.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in the order dated 25.02.2017 passed by the 3rd respondent, it has been stated that the incumbents should not claim seniority based on the said order, since it is the subject matter of the Writ Petition in W.P.No.5741 of 2016 filed by one Thiru M.Ganesan, UDC and Tmt.M.Anandy, UDC and therefore, liberty may be given to the petitioner to file a fresh Contempt Petition in the event of the 3rd respondent not obeying the orders in spite of the Writ Petition in W.P.No.5741 of 2016 being decided in favour of the petitioners.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the Contempt Petition is closed and the liberty as sought for by the petitioner is granted.
