MOHAMMED SHAFFIQ,J When the matter is taken up, learned Special Government Pleader for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the tax case and a memo for withdrawal dated 04.01.2023 has also been filed, which reads thus:

"It is submitted that we have preferred Tax Case Revision against the orders passed by the Tamil Nadu Sales Tax Appellate Tribunal (Main Bench), Chennai - 600 104 in STA No. 626 of 2015 dated 31.03.2016. In the meantime, the orders passed in STA No.626 of 2015 dated 31.03.2016 was accepted by the Commercial Taxes Department.

In the above circumstances, it is, therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble High Court may be pleased to permit the petitioner to withdraw the above Tax Case Revision in T.C.S.R. No. 56971 of 2016 against STA No. 626 of 2015 dated 31.03.2016..."

In view of the memo dated 04.01.2023, the tax case is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
