The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to issue patta in his name, for the property comprised in survey No.510/3 part, Ward No.22, Athur Town, Athur Taluk, Salem District by considering his application dated 14.02.2018.
2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted an application dated 14.02.2018, to the respondent, claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the said application is yet to be disposed of by the respondent. Hence, this writ petition.
3. Mr.V.Shanmuga Sundar, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondent, submitted that the respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
may be directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 14.02.2018 and pass orders in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 14.02.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
