ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the respondent to pay him all the retirement benefits including gratuity amount, commutation amount, earned leave and medical leave salary with interest at the rate of 6% per annum for the belated settlement of retirement benefits payable to him from the date of retirement i.e., 30.06.2018 till the date of settlement of the same, by the respondent.

2.During the course of hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the case of the petitioner is covered by the decision of this Court rendered in WP Nos.26370 to 26379 of 2018 placing reliance on which again https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

another WP No.20048 of 2018 has also been disposed of with an order to extend such retirement benefit and as such, the respondent be directed to extend the retirement benefits to the petitioner in terms of the order passed in the aforesaid writ petitions.

3.Mr.Rajini Ramadoss, learned counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent against whom the relief sought for, submits that they do not dispute the fact that the case of the petitioner is covered by the aforesaid decision rendered by this Court.

4.Therefore, considering the aforesaid submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this Court dispose of this writ petition at the stage of admission without seeking any reply affidavit, with a direction to the respondent to extend him the retirement benefits in installments in terms of the order passed in WP Nos.26370 to 26379 of 2018 batch which was also followed in WP No.20048 of 2018. However, the first installment shall commence within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs.
