Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the respondents 5 to 11 who are running hospitals in the building which are not approved under Tamilnadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 and Tamilnadu Public Building (Licensing) Act, 1965 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 18.6.2018.

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.R.Nalliyappan, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 4; Mr.P.Navaneethakrishnan, learned counsel for respondent No.5; Mr.V.P.Sengottuvel, learned Senior Counsel for Ms.K.Indu Priya, learned counsel for respondents 6, 9 to 11; Mr.V.R.Mukunda Kumar, learned counsel for respondent No.7; and, Mr.G.Pavendhan, learned counsel for respondent No.8.
2. Learned counsels for respondents 5, 6, 7, 9 to 11 submit that they have already got licences for the buildings. Learned
counsels for the respective respondents have placed on record the licences granted.
3. The Commissioner of Corporation, Erode and the revenue officials may verify the licences granted to respondents 5, 6, 7, 9 to 11 as to whether the same are in order.
4. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
