Mr.K.Rajendra Prasad Additional Government Pleader Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceedings issued in Na.Ka.R.D.3/609/2017 dated 15.02.2017 of the second respondent and pass final orders on the said disciplinary proceedings within a stipulated time limited.

The petitioner, a Block Development Officer, was issued with a charge memo on 15.02.2017. The petitioner has submitted his explanation on 10.02.2017. Not satisfied with the explanation, the second respondent appointed an enquiry officer and in respect of the enquiry report, a second show cause notice has been issued to the petitioner on 06.04.2017, for which also the petitioner has submitted his further explanation in the month of April 2017. Even thereafter the enquiry proceedings has not been concluded. In the meantime, the petitioner had attained superannuation on 31.05.2017 and was permitted to retire subject to the result of the enquriry. However, the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner has not been completed and final report is yet to be filed. Pointing out the same, the petitioner submitted a representation on 05.11.2017. As the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed the present this writ petition.
2. Mr.K.Rajendra Prasad learned Addl. Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

In the above circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to conclude the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner at the earliest and pass final orders to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
