ORDER
The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Archagar on 01.06.1987 in Arulmigu Kariya Manikka Varadharaja
Perumal Thirukovil, Aalathur Village and Post, Cheyyar Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District and he retired from service on 30.06.2011. Hence the petitioner applied for pension before the respondents. The petitioner states that even though he has submitted all the relevant documents and the demand draft, as required by the authorities, for grant of pension to him, nothing happened and he has been made to run from pillar to post. In this connection, the petitioner has also made a representation dated 27.07.2012 to the respondents. Hence the petitioner has come up with this writ petition to direct the respondents to consider his representation dated 27.07.2012 and to pass appropriate orders.
2.Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Govt.Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.
3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.07.2012 with regard to the eligibility of the petitioner for pension and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
