RESPONDENTS Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 21.06.2018 and reinstate the petitioner in service with all benefits thereon.

With the consent of parties, the writ petition itself has been taken up for final disposal.

2. According to the petitioner, petitioner was dismissed from service on 19.12.2014. The said dismissal order was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

forwarded to the Joint Commissioner of Labour Department, Chennai under Section 33(2) of Industrial Dispute Act, 1947 for approval in A.P.No.317 of 2014 and the same was rejected by the Joint Commissioner of Labour, Chennai. As on today, no appeal was preferred. Hence, the petitioner has made representation to the respondents on 21.6.2018 to reinstate him in service with all benefits. However, no final order has been passed till now. Hence, the present writ petition.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents seeks time to pass final order on the representation, dated 21.6.2018 made by the petitioner. 3 Considering the submission made by the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents, without expressing any opinion on merit, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 21.6.2018 and pass final orders on merit and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4 Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
