Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for V.R.S. on medical grounds taking note of his deteriorated health condition and medical incapacitation to continue in the post of Driver after subjecting him to medical examination by the Medical Board to ascertain the real physical health condition of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that during the pendency of the writ petition, the writ petitioner was allowed to go on Voluntary Retirement Scheme and accordingly, the writ petitioner was relieved from service.
