Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 18.04.2018 to restore their names in the revenue records such as patta, chitta, adangal and other village accounts with respect to their lands measuring 0.40.0 hectare in Survey No.158/1, K.Mamanadal village, Kallakurichi Taluk, Villupuram District within the time limit fixed by this Court. Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 18.04.2018 to restore their names in the revenue records such as patta, chitta, adangal and other village accounts with respect to their lands measuring 0.69.0 hectare in R.S.No.158/2, 0.10.0 hectare in R.S.No.158/3 Ka.Mamanandal village, Kallakurichi Taluk and 0.09.5 hectares in R.S.No.84/9, 0.11.5 hectare in R.S.No.94/12A and 0.61.5 hectare in R.S.No.84/13A, Kallakurichi Village, Villupuram District within the time limit fixed by this Court.

ORDER

By consent of both parties, the writ petitions are taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioners have come up with these writ petitions seeking a direction to the respondents to consider their representations dated 18.04.2018 and to restore their names in the revenue records in respect of their lands, within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners have submitted their representations dated 18.04.2018 claiming the relief as prayed in these writ petitions, but, the same are yet to be disposed of by the respondents. Hence, the petitioners are before this Court. 4.Mr.J.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents 1 and 2, submitted that the respondents be directed to consider the petitioners' representations and pass orders in accordance with law. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioners' representations dated 18.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.Accordingly, these writ petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
