Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the order made in Na.Ka.No.A5/4871/2015 dated 21.02.2017 passed by the 3rd respondent and subsequent order made in Na.Ka.No.A4/2998/2017 dated 22.03.2018 issued 1/4

by the 2nd respondent and the order made in Na.Ka.No.B4/21453/2015 dated 29.06.2018 issued by the 1st respondent and quash the same and consequently directing the 3rd respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner and handover the possession of the land comprised in S.No.762/3 measuring about 40 cents of agricultural land situated at Ayilam Village, Walaja Taluk, Vellore District and pass such further orders. When the case came up for hearing on earlier occasion on 03.07.2024, it was submitted by the representing counsel that the learned counsel on record, M/s.A.Nagarathinam, had passed away in the year 2021 and thereafter, they also handed over the bundle to the petitioner. The petitioner had also not engaged any counsel till date. Hence, the Registry was directed to delete the names of M/s.A.Nagarathinam, Mr.G.Pugazhenthi, Mr.M.Saravanan and print the name of the petitioner in the Cause List and also send a draft notice to the petitioner directly. The matter was adjourned to 18.07.2024.

2. On 18.07.2024, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and in regard to the Court notice, it has been returned with the endorsement "Service Awaited". Again, the matter was adjourned to 26.07.2024.

3. Today, 26.07.2024, when the matter was taken up for hearing, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the notice sent by the Registry was returned with the endorsement "Petitioner Died". In view of the above endorsement, the writ petition stands dismissed as abated. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
