This miscellaneous petition has been filed by the writ petitioner seeking a prayer for amending the cause title.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that at the time of filing the writ petition, the following respondents have been arrayed as 1 to 5 in the writ proceedings:- (i) The District Collector O/o the District Collectorate Vellore, Vellore District (ii) The Tahsildar O/o the Tahsildar Chengam, Chengam Taluk Thiruvannamalai District (iii)The Taluk Surveyor Chengam Taluk Office (Survey Section) Chengam, Chengam Taluk Thiruvannamalai District (iv) Mr.Siva, S/o Venugopal (v) Mr.Ramu, S/o Venugopal The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that inadvertently, he has arrayed the Tahsildar, Chengam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District and the Taluk Surveyor, Chengam Taluk office (Survey Section), Chengam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District as parties, instead of the Tahsildar, Ambur, Ambur Taluk, Vellore District and the Taluk Surveyor, Chengam Taluk Office (Survey Section), Ambur, Ambur Taluk, Vellore District, as the respondents 2 & 3. Hence, he sought for allowing the miscellaneous petition.

3. Since the petitioner himself has given the wrong cause title while filing the writ petition, this Court is not inclined to accept the prayer of the petitioner. Accordingly, the W.M.P.No.30307 of 2018 stands dismissed. 20.11.2018 ss
