Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ order or direction in the nature of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to form a committee to fix revise the pension for the retired Bank of Baroda officials and disburse the same with arrears of pension to the petitioners.

The prayer sought for herein in this Writ Petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to form a committee to revise the pension for the retired Bank of Baroda officials and disburse the same with arrears of pension to the petitioners.
2. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are retired employees from the Bank of Baroda and they have approached the Bank to revise the pension for the retired employees of the Bank of Baroda. In this regard, they have given a representation dated 28.09.2018, to the 1st respondent and the same was not considered by the 1st respondent. Hence the petitioners have filed this writ petition.
3. Without expressing any opinion on merits, I am inclined to issue a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the Writ Petitioners' representation dated 28.09.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
