O R D E R
This Contempt Petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 18.12.2017 made in W.P.No.27287 of 2003.
2. When this Contempt Petition came up for hearing on the last occasion ie., on 21.01.2021, it was submitted on behalf of the respondent that the orders of this Court has been complied with and the pay benefits payable to the petitioner had already been paid. Cont.P.No.2239 of 2018 petitioner had submitted that, he has received instructions from the petitioner that, the petitioner had received only arrears of back wages, but the pay benefits under various other heads are yet to be received by him and therefore, in this regard he wanted to get instructions as to under what heads the amounts were not disbursed and that, he would intimate the same before this Court in the form of an affidavit. Accordingly, the case was adjourned twice.
3. Today when the case is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, despite the best efforts by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner could not be contacted and in this regard the learned counsel reports no instructions.
4. In the said circumstances, in view of the categorical stand taken by the learned Standing Counsel that the orders of this Court dated 18.12.2017 since has been complied with, this Court is not inclined to retain this contempt petition for further adjudication.
