O R D E R
This Miscellaneous petition has been filed, to modify the condition as to deposit a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only) to the credit of Cr.No.5 of 2018 on the file of the Special Judge under TNPID Act, Chennai, imposed in the order dated 10.09.2018 instead of Rs.20,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Lakhs Only) in Crl.M.P.No.1200 of 2018 on the file of Special Judge under TNPID Act, Chennai.
2. It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioner/accused cheated the public money by doing the business in the name of "Podhigai Chit Funds Private Limited" and the petitioner collected amount from 150 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
victims to the tune of Rs.1 Crores. Thereafter, the amount was not paid to the victims. Hence, a case has been registered against the petitioner by the respondent police.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is not able to mobilize the huge amount of Rs.20,00,000/- for depositing the same to the credit of Crime No.5 of 2018 on the file of the Special Judge under TNPID Act, Chennai, within one week and therefore he has filed the present modification petition before this Court.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also in view of the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.
Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
