PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the Sub-Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Namakkal, Namakkal District to complete the investigation and file the final report in Cr.No.4 of 2017 on the file of Sub Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Namakkal within a fixed period of time in accordance with law. ORDER

This petition has filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.4 of 2017 at early.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the respondent has registered the FIR in Crime No.4 of 2017 on 18.05.2017 under Sections 498(A) and 506(i) IPC, but, thereafter, no steps have been taken for completing the investigation and hence, he requests to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report at early.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after registering the case, the matter has been taken up for investigation and the investigation is in progress. She further submitted that one month time may be granted for filing final report.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file final report within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the aforesaid directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of .
