(Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY, J.) The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2016. By the representation dated 04.02.2016, the petitioner has requested the authorities to remove the encroachment made by respondents 4 to 10 in the land in S.No.353 situated at Nallanigunda Village, Thiruthani, Amirthapuram Cluster Village, Tiruthani Taluk, Tiruvallur District.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation given as early as on 04.02.2016, the second respondent has not yet considered the same.
3.Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Government Pleader (i/c.), on taking notice for respondents 1 to 3, submitted that the third respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2016 within a period of eight weeks.
4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, we direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2016 and pass appropriate orders, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
